Wacken Open Air has dropped you with EIGHT bands, and they all put on their best shiny suits and armour to please you on the Holy Ground. Well in once case, they took off their shiny attire: None other than Gene Simmons is hitting the road to deliver his solo program, and he's not coming alone, but with a highly decorated all-star band
Also on board to shake the marrow out of your bones are Prog-Sludgers Baroness, while Massive Wagons Groove Rock will be hitting you right in the hips. Robse, formerly of Equilibrium, is doing his own thing now, and he's doing it very, very well, just like Gene.
Whitechapel are stepping up to blast merciless Death Metal into your brain, Persefone can keep up with their Prog prowess. Staying in Greece, we visit the Planet of Zeus, where Heavy Stoner Rock shakes the Akropolis. And just to remind us all that we came here to have capital FUN: he's finally back – Hairmodel, Human Cheshire Cat and German Heavy Metal Comedy God Bülent Ceylan.
