Boundaries have debuted a second song from the band’s anticipated new album, Death Is Little More (March 29, 3DOT Recordings), with today’s release of “A Pale Light Lingers” , a track that features guest vocals from Alpha Wolf’s Lochie Keogh.
“Sometimes the only way to move forward is to cut ties to what holds us to our past. Love and hate have to be held around the neck until nothing is left. To reject the world’s rejection and start again. To be selfless enough to die with the rest of them” vocalist Matthew McDougal says of the song that arrived with an Errick Easterday-directed video.
Consequence chose the band’s previous single “Easily Erased”, as one of their Heavy Songs of the Week, MetalSucks said Boundaries are “wowing critics all over the place with their sound and fury” and Knotfest.com noted the Hartford-based band’s “intense prowess”.
Produced, mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator Randy LeBoeuf (Gideon, The Acacia Strain, Kublai Khan TX), the album also includes additional guest appearances from Honeycutt (Kublai Khan TX), and Marcus Vik (Invent Animate).
