Clowns release new video for single "THANKS 4 NOTHING"

CLOWNS, the well-known punk rock powerhouse from Melbourne, Australia, rekindles the fuse with their latest single "THANKS 4 NOTHING". The track marks the third release from their highly anticipated album Endless, due out October 20 via Fat Wreck Chords.

"THANKS 4 NOTHING" is another testament to the CLOWNS' artistic ability, the song is characterized by its very own note, which sets the single apart from the band's previous work.

Written and passionately sung by Hanny J, the band's talented bassist, the song takes the listener on a sonic journey through the ups and downs of the music scene during the turbulent times of the Covid lockdown.

Hanny, the creative force behind the lyrics, describes the song as a heartfelt love letter to the music scene and its extended family of fans.

She says: "THANKS 4 NOTHING" is a love song to the music scene and our family; it sums up how the Covid lockdown seemed like a crazy juxtaposition of government-enacted, isolation-induced insanity with new collective energy, new ideas and a new appreciation for what we have and what we will do.

Accompanying the release of THANKS 4 NOTHING is a music video that offers a glimpse into the life of the CLOWNS during their recent European tour, showcasing the band's lifestyle and documenting some of their biggest shows to date. The video was edited by talented filmmaker Tom Brown, who expertly weaves together the electrifying outdoor performances and behind-the-scenes antics.
