The Ghost Inside reveal video for new single, "Earn It"

Today THE GHOST INSIDE are back with the new single "Earn It" produced by Dan Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker) via Epitaph.

The metalcore heavyweights are back in full force with Earn It, their first new release since 2020's self-titled album. With haunting guitars and pounding drums, frontman Jonathan Vigil shifts from brutal screams to clean vocals with ease. He reveals the message behind the song:

"Sometimes people think they're entitled to greatness because of their social status or the circumstances they were born into. Nothing worthwhile ever comes for free. You gotta earn it."

The Ghost Inside have just finished their European tour and have shown their electrifying live performance on major festival stages such as Hellfest (France), Graspop (Belgium), Copenhell (Denmark) and Jera On Air (Netherlands).

A co-headlining tour with Underoath, supported by We Came As Romans and Better Lovers, will follow from July 15th.

The Ghost Inside formed in El Segundo, California in 2008 to share their passion for hardcore bands. The band has since released five studio albums: Fury and the Fallen Ones (2008), Returners (2010), Get What You Give (2012), Dear Youth (2014) and The Ghost Inside (2020). The group stands for authenticity, dedication, perseverance and a literal adherence to the core values of their craft. In terms of sound, they attach equal importance to deeply personal singing, haunting riffing and driving breakdowns within the framework of their strongly melodic, modern hardcore.

Their 2020 self-titled album represents determination, reflection and newfound hope after the tragic 2015 bus accident that changed the band's life forever, claiming the life of the driver and all occupants of the other vehicle and resulting in numerous injuries to all members led. Finally, they saw the incident as a moment to put their inspirational writing to the test. Songs that were originally more philosophical became autobiographical. The accident will always be a defining moment for The Ghost Inside, but never what defines it.
