For those who missed it in the daily hustle and bustle: High Vis have literally exploded in the DIY scene and have won over their mix of classic 90s Britpop/rock and old-school hardcore/punk elements with their intense live shows and direct lyrics that address topics such as class politics and deal with the challenges of everyday life, quickly gained a loyal following, which also immediately led to sold-out 500 club clubs.
Their extraordinarily idiosyncratic second album "Blending", which was released last fall, landed on countless year-end lists and received overwhelming reviews worldwide.
After their completely sold out EU/UK tour a few months ago, the band returns to our clubs in October. Be quick and secure your tickets immediately!

High Vis' signature sound of aggressive, artful punk is as heavy-duty as any hardcore album, yet sonically opens up beyond the parameters of any genre or scene. As the title "Blending" suggests, it's about bringing all these new strands and elements into what is at the core of the band, to forge something entirely new out of it.
While "Blending" shows that High Vis' sound has evolved even further compared to their 2019 debut "No Sense No Feeling", the album also marks another leap forward lyrically. Frontman Graham Sayle is open about poverty and class politics and has always written about the oppressed and discarded communities across Britain that are slipping beneath the surface.
Again, Sayle hasn't lost any of his social awareness, but he's confronted himself and his own emotions, creating something that feels more universal, that reaches out to people and ultimately conveys a message of hope.
