This year's JERA ON AIR poster is taking shape more and more. Among others, Heideroosjes, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Carpenter Brut and Black Flag join the list of bands promising to make the 29th edition of the festival unforgettable. Furthermore, additional highlights such as Anti-Flag, Cancer Bats, Casey, de Hardheid, Arson, Captain Kaiser, Chaser, Punk Rock Factory and Static Dress were added to the already impressive line-up!
JERA ON AIR, the biggest alternative festival in the Benelux countries, which this year will feature Parkway Drive, Rancid and The Ghost Inside, among others.

June 24th will be a special home game for Heideroosjes. The punk legends from Horst have decided to only play one Dutch festival this summer. They have decided on their great love: Jera On Air. The punk band around singer Marco Roelofs will play all the classics from their extensive repertoire in their own front yard, where they have often performed.
The acoustic guitar is unmistakably the driving force behind Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls. Frontman Frank Turner, former lead singer of the punk rock band Million Dead, has dedicated himself to a style of music that comes closest to folk after the band broke up. A new direction with which he has been able to celebrate success after success for over fifteen years. With the support of his band, The Sleeping Souls, Turner morphed into an award-winning singer-songwriter. In 2022, his latest work FTHC received international critical acclaim.
One of the eye-catchers on the Jera On Air 2023 poster, Rancid are tried and true in the punk rock realm. This certainly applies to their compatriots of the legendary Black Flag as well. The American punks were formed in 1976. Even though the composition of the band changed over the years, guitarist Greg Ginn stayed. After a long radio silence, the band released a new studio album in 2013. Since then Black Flag are back. This will be demonstrated in Ysselsteyn at the end of June.
Never before has a synthwave band performed at Jera On Air. The deserved place is now being created for the founders of the genre. Carpenter Brut's illustrious troupe created a unique sound thanks to a shared interest in '80s TV shows and B-movie soundtracks from yesteryear. The sonic connection? The unmistakable sound of the synthesizer. Carpenter Brut has a penchant for kitschy sounds and vintage instruments with a heavy dose of electro and metal. This results in a unique and slightly bizarre sound that is guaranteed to inspire you.
