In typical Wacken Open Air fashion, the festival has revealed a massive wave of bands over December as part of their Christmas advent calendar.
These names include Alestorm, Amorphis, Angus McSix, Enemy Inside, Evergrey, Dog Eat Dog, Ferocious Dog, Legion of the Damned, Pennywise, Rauhbein, Amaranthe, Uriah Heep, Bloodbath, Caliban, DRAIN, FAUN, J.B.O., Jag Panzer, Battle Beast, While She Sleeps, Anthrax celebrating their 40th Anniversary Show, Killswitch Engage, Employed To Serve, Be'lakor, Kärbholz, Schandmaul with a 25th Anniversary Show, Skálmöld, The Real McKenzies, HERIOT and Warkings.
