High Vis drops new video, upcoming UK/EU tour completely sold out!

High Vis have exploded on the DIY scene, garnering a loyal following with their intense live shows and direct lyrics that address issues such as class politics and the challenges of everyday life. Their extraordinary sophomore album Blending, released over the fall of last year, has landed on countless annual best lists and has received rave reviews worldwide from Stereogum, The Fader, NME, The Guardian, NPR, BBC 6Music, Revolver, Kerrang!, Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1 and many others.

High Vis' signature aggressively artful sound is as heavy as any hardcore album, but sonically it opens up beyond genre parameters or any scene. As the title Blending suggests, it's all about merging all of these new strands and elements with what makes the band at its core to create something entirely new.

While the album demonstrates that High Vis' sound has evolved even further compared to their 2019 debut No Sense No Feeling, the album also represents a leap forward lyrically. Frontman Graham Sayle is open about poverty and class politics and has his own voice has always written about the downtrodden and discarded communities across Britain that happily slip out of sight of society.

Sayle hasn't lost any of his social awareness this time either, but he's confronted himself and his own emotional world and in the process created something that feels more universal, reaches out to people and ultimately conveys a message of hope.

Today the band unveil their moving new video "Trauma Bonds," of which Sayle says:

"Filmed and directed by Jonah West and shot over the course of a year, the video is an emotional portrait of Jamz and Sean. Two people negotiating the world while living in the shadow of trauma. The video is dedicated to all those carrying the burden grieving for those who left us too soon and those struggling with their own existence. If you're going through hell, keep going."
