Yesterday the gospel of the wolf cleansed thousands of souls in Antwerp’s Lotto Arena and today we are proud to announce that German power metal heroes Powerwolf will headline the first festival day of Alcatraz 2023.
In the wake of their extremely successful Wolfsnächte 2022 tour they are now preparing to take European festival arenas by storm next summer with their impressive live set-up. In addition, their new ‘Interludium’ album will be unleashed on Good Friday next year. Plenty of reasons to stake your place in front of the main stage on Friday 11 August!
Alcatraz has also added 18 other bands to the bill, which include:
Amorphis, Hypocrisy, The Exploited, Metal Church, WindRose, Evil Dead, Gang Green, Celeste, Maceration, La Muerte, Do Or Die, Kludde, Serpents Oath and Slaughter The Giant.
Alcatraz Open Air takes place on August 11-13 2023.
