HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD from Los Angeles are back with a blatant musical statement!
Produced by WZRD BLD (Lil Wayne, Bullet For My Valentine, Lil Peep), the explosive new single "CHAOS" is without doubt one of the heaviest announcements of their career.
"CHAOS" also bears the unmistakable signature of the five Americans by tying together hard-hitting rap parts, powerful guitar sounds and alternative rock elements to form their trademark sound. At the same time, the new song acts as a foretaste of Hollywood Undead's upcoming album.
"'CHAOS' is about that feeling of nearing your destination: believing you're about to put your feet up - only to realize there's more chaos waiting for you... and never will be. The There will be no rest for the wicked!” commented Johnny 3 Tears.
There is also a first visualizer for the new single.
The official video for CHAOS, an impressively choreographed and haunting clip, will premiere on March 3rd. Directed by Jensen Noen (Ice Nine Kills, Falling In Reverse, Asking Alexandria).
Next week, Hollywood Undead will also kick off their KILL THE NOISE North American tour with Papa Roach and Bad Wolves.
After operating under the radar for a long time, Hollywood Undead have enjoyed massive success in the mainstream for years. Right from the start, they anticipated the latest trend towards playlist hopping and genre-free approaches: since their founding in 2005, the name Hollywood Undead has stood for a wild, unblinkered mix of rap, rock and electronic sounds. Their debut album Swan Songs (2008) already reached platinum status in the USA. The follow-up American Tragedy, released in 2011, was certified gold and entered the US album charts at number 4. After the Notes From The Underground album, released in 2013, even made it to number 2, the band even cracked the mark of 1 billion combined streams for the first time with the successors Day Of The Dead (2015) and V (2017) (the fifth album rose in Germany also in the top 25). With New Empire, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, they even doubled that number (Spotify and YouTube combined) to more than 2 billion streams. At the same time, they had sold-out shows on four continents and received plenty of praise from the US Rolling Stone, Billboard, Consequence Of Sound, Alternative Press, Revolver and Co.
