Doodeskader (“Death Squad,” feat. mem. Amenra, Kapitan Korsakov) Premiere Terrifying New Track, “Gabos”

The law of the strongest is merciless. And so is the Death Squad ("Doodseskader").

DOODSESKADER is the new brand of sonic terror from the minds of Tim De Gieter (Amenra, Every Stranger Looks Like You,…) and Sigfried Burroughs (Kapitan Korsakov, The K., …). After 16 years of friendship, the pair have joined forces to carve a barbarous sound like no other.  Seamlessly blending the punishing nature of sludge and metal with elements reminiscent of 90’s grunge and hip hop, the aptly named DOODSESKADER successfully create a sound that is far bigger than their modest instrumentation.

The group’s new single,’“GABOS,” is a link between their debut MMXX : Year Zero and what's to come this fall. Faster and angrier, yet drenched in the same darkness that was poured into their first record, “GABOS” premieres today alongside a new music video by the Lion Beach team (Oscar and the Wolf, Bazart, The Subs) in which a crowd tries in vain to take control of something gigantic and unknown.

The band comments on the track, “When we wrote ‘GABOS’ we wanted it to feel like an anthem, a fight song for what we describe as '45.' An affiliation. An unbreakable bond that goes much deeper than blood. Knowing that no matter how grim things get, you’ve got each other’s back.”

Sonically existing in the same realms as Code Orange, Death Grips, Ghostemane, Show Me Your Body and Xibalba, DOODESKADER offer a new take on this style with their tasteful inclusion of melody amongst the calculated chaos.  This year the band is switching into higher gear with the release of both their second album as well as multiple singles and shows and festival appearances across Europe.

“GABOS” was recorded and mixed at Much Luv Studio (Amenra, Brutus, Absent In Body) and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker).
