Athens heavyweights Lunar Cycle are proud to reveal today the video for the single "Keep Me Awake". The song was produced, mixed and mastered by Hector Tsolakis at HD Factory while the video was filmed and edited by Jim Kakes of Mindthreat.
The band comments on the song: "Keep Me Awake deals with being engulfed in a toxic relationship, whether an affair or a family situation -or any type of circumstance for that matter, which is keeping us blindfolded and unaware of reality, as well as our feelings when we are free of that condition".
"Keep Me Awake" is available to stream and download here.
The song also serves as a first taste of Lunar Cycle's upcoming new album, due to be released sometime in 2021. The theme of the single will be prevalent in the album, which will be focusing on human relationships, in terms of functionality and their imprint on society. "In a crushing moment of reality, we are haunted by our short-sightedness until we realize how insignificant we are in this vast world", the band states.
Lunar Cycle consists of Efi Eva (vocals), Alex Despotidis (guitar), Odysseas Kalogeropoulos (guitar), Marikaiti Nikolakaki (bass) and Tasos Morfopoulos(drums).
