Parkway Drive reveal live video for "Wild Eyes" from Wacken Open Air

Parkway Drive recently announced the soundtrack of the documentary "Viva The Underdogs" for March 27th on Epitaph and presented a German and a live version of the song "The Void".

With "Wild Eyes" a further foretaste including video is now available:

In addition to eleven live songs recorded during last year's Wacken Open Air's headline performance, the soundtrack contains three exclusive tracks with "Vice Grip", "The Void" and "Shadow Boxing" German songs. On the latter, Casper is represented with a feature.

Frontman Winston McCall comments the background to the German songs as follows:

"This was hands down one of the most unique projects we’ve undertaken. The idea of taking our songs and interpreting them through another language was a massive challenge, but considering the amount of time, love and support that has been shown to us over the years we wanted to commit to doing the project with full integrity. The result is every effort being made to translate the meaning, spirit, and conviction of these songs in a language that is not our own. We hope the result helps to strengthen the connection this music creates. We offer you these songs out of respect and our heartfelt thanks for all the times you have sung them with us in their original forms. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the process of creating them."

In January "Viva The Underdogs" was presented exclusively in over 60 different cinemas in Germany and Austria. The documentary offers a personal insight into more than 15 years of band history. There is exclusive "behind the scene" material, recordings of tour life and appearances at the world's largest festivals, various interviews with companions of the band and much more. After Parkway Drive played numerous festival appearances last year (including headlining Wacken, SummerBreeze, Hellfest etc.), the band recently announced the spectacular "Viva The Underdogs - European Revolution" headline tour for April. Support comes from Hatebreed, Stick To Your Guns and Venom Prison.
