While She Sleeps kicked off the new year with a tour consisting of selected dates across Europe. Special guests on this run were Every Time I Die and Vein.
Vein opened the evening with the room being almost full. To be honest, unfortunately the band isn't my cup of tea musically, but this didn't mean that the crowd didn't receive them warmly. The band had a great energy and the members moved erratically up an down the stage and had a great overall presence. I appreciated their performance even though they didn't grow on me.
Every Time I Die was up next. The Buffalo outfit is renown for their live shows and one thing's for sure: their crowd will never get bored during their performance. I've seen them a few time now and like usual, they didn't disappoint.
While She Sleeps headlined the evening. Everything about their show was perfect. The audience was responsive since the beginning up until the band's final notes. The band was really energetic and a pleasure to watch rip the stage apart, and transmitted their joy of playing. I've seen them too a few times but this one was hands down the best! The setlist was also on point, although I was disappointed While She Sleeps didn't play "Seven Hills" and "Our Courage, Our Cancer" which I absolutely love. I know they are old but I can never imagine a show without them and I was left craving them.
