Germany's Euroblast Festival has become one the most respected and celebrated international gatherings dedicated to progressive music. Welcoming artists and fans from all over the world, Euroblast has become not only an annual pit-stop for enthusiastic fans, but also a proving ground for aspiring and established artists alike.
Celebrating its 16th edition in 2020, Euroblast Festival organizers have announced the event’s most ambitious line-up to date and look to establish themselves further as the #1 event in this genre.
To celebrate 2019's successful event, Euroblast have revealed the official aftermovie that gives prospective festival goers and bands an insight into the family focused atmosphere that Euroblast presents.

John Sprich, Euroblast Festival owner speaks about last year's event.
"Seeing the shots from the Aftermovie just makes me go back to our 15th edition and all the joyful interactions and music that took place. Having people traveling from all over the world and making them happy with something that I take part in is absolutely mind blowing"
Euroblast Festival 2020 will take place 1-3.October 2020 at the Essigfabrik in Cologne, Germany.
This year’s edition will see headline performances from Plini, Dirty Loops, Khroma, Volkor X and Black Tongue.
The Stockholm based trio Dirty Loops who are quite frankly a musician’s wet dream, are bringing their inimitable, and ambitious stylings to the stage. Their performance is set to be a mind-blowing and party-esque 90 minutes featuring an amalgamation of covers and originals.
Soundscapes from the heavens, the uplifting and dreamlike instrumentation coming from down-under will be sure to provide an immersive and wondrous experience for all. For the first time, Plini and his fellowship of musicians are bringing a magical mix of instrumental music ranging from progressive, fusion and metal to Euroblast Festival.
Rising from the depths of hell - Black Tongue have transcended their brutality to the stage with their down-tempo self professed doomcore. Bringing their darkness to life, the sheer savagery of what this band produces will be sure to raise the darkest of spirits and send mass destruction through Cologne.
Volkor X does not come in peace. Sounds of the past and the future combined, Volkor X will present a live show reminiscent of a time machine, hurling the listener back and forth with an assault of synthwave infused metal.
Simultaneously industrial and cinematic, Finnish metal outfit Khroma return to Euroblast in 2020 with their down-tuned riffs and cynical societal views. Providing a soundtrack to the decline of our times, this band will surely resonate with those who stand in defiance of disillusionment.
