The swedish alternative metalcore band Imminence played Neues Schauspiel in Leipzig during their German album release tour for their latest album, “Turn The Light On”, which was released on May 3rd.
The quartet did not have an opener for their sold out show and even though they were supposed to hit the stage at 10pm, the show didn’t start until 10:30pm. People didn’t seem to mind the delay and waited patiently while chatting with each other. But once Imminence came on stage, the already small room seemed to be getting even smaller. People really used to whole room to mosh and dance along to the music. In the middle of the set the guys decided to play some acoustic songs that were also appreciated by the fans. I had only heard good things about their show and I have to say that I think they sound even better live than on record. I would definitely attend to another show in the future.
