The German metalcore band Eskimo Callboy are on their current headliner tour with the no-fucks-given American band Attila, supported by the metal/electronica band The Browning. I caught the tour at Huxley’s Neue Welt in Berlin on November 4th.
The Browning started their set and from second one, the crowd was on level 100. I’m not kidding when I say that the whole venue was shaking from people jumping up and down. A great start for the night. Up next was Attila who came on stage and performed classics like “Party With The Devil”, “Proving Grounds”, “Moshpit” and many more. Frontman Fronz didn’t even need to hype up the crowd, as everyone was already moshing and people seemed to be having the best time. Then, finally, Eskimo Callboy entered the stage with their bombastic confetti cannons and smoke machines. It gave a fantastic effect. The setlist consisted of a variety of songs, including new ones like “Back In The Bizz”, “MC Thunder” and “VIP”, as well as old ones like “My Own Summer” and “Crystals”. They even played some really old school bangers like “Muffin Purper-Gurk” and “We Are the Mess”. After I finished shooting I joined the moshpit and had a really fun rest of the night. Great show, as always.
